After Katrina’s post on Grottos Pizza, I’m getting very nostaglic about good old Newark, DE.  Luckily I’ll be back in my college town VERY soon!

Coming from NYC, a lot of people ask me how I can possibly go to a school like UD?  How can I go from a huge city to a suburban college town? 

Well, for me, Newark is one of the greatest places on earth.  I’ll always be partial to New York, but Newark has provided for an amazing second home. 

I went to an incredibly small high school—both in number of students and physical space.  When I was choosing colleges, I knew I wanted something that was big, had space to breath, was traditional and not too far from home.  Delaware had all that (and more!), and I’m so grateful for all the opportunities that UD has given me. 

Home will always be home, but for my four years of college, I can’t think of a better place to spend it than Delaware.
